XVIVE U6 Compact Wireless Lav Mic | Review & Demo

In this video I review the Compact Wireless Lavaliere Microphone from Xvive. This is a great lav mic that does NOT have a cord attached to it. Simple clip the small rectangle onto the cloth of a shirt and it is ready to go. I compare it with a wired lav mic from Xvive, the LV1, and the U6 is very comparable to it. I highly recommend this unit for video makers in need a the most simple way to ca...

If you have ever wanted to power something using USB 5 volt power using the 9 volt power from your pedal power supply... this is the video for you. All you need is a simple step down converter. I bought this inexpensive 6-40 Volt to Duel USB Buck Converter (Adapter) from Amazon, two for around $11. In just a matter of minutes, I was able to power a pedal that only has USB power. It's DIY, but i...
Xvive LV1 LV2 Lavalier Mic Review

This video is a review of the LV1 and LV2 Lavalier Microphones from Xvive. Both of these mics are truly great. High quality audio and build quality. The LV1 has a little more low end and comes with a "dead cat" outdoor windscreen, while the LV2 rolls off the low end a bit and is smaller for concealment. You can't go wrong with either of these mics. LV1:bitly.ws/u5Rh LV2:bitly.ws/u5Ro Support me...

You can also have one signal go to your amp while the other goes to a USB interface for recording or streaming. That way you won't need to wear headphones the whole time playing. Might consider getting this

I have used this method and I am not convinced that it is any better than one turn on top and two turns below, and it is almost impossible to get the string off if it breaks, without side cutters or pliers. I have also never had string slippage leading to an out of tune situation using other methods. I see that it is most probably more appropriate on non metallic stringed instruments such as the ukulele. I would value some comments and constructive criticism here.

"There's history behind Gibson, they've been around for so long" so you will pay 3000$ for something that has worse QC than any guitar on the planet? Gibson, as a company, is dead.

It's actually pretty easy. If the headstock is still attached, you've got a fake. If it's broken off, congrats, you are playing authentic!

Good video but...... If you want your hardware to still look good in 20 years - Don't ever use power tools to tighten screws, and it's a good idea to put a little string tension on the neck (with screws cinched, but not tight) so the neck "seats" in the pocket.

I have a MIM Players Stratocaster and I can pick it up, play it, hear it and it says "Fender" on the head stock so my opinion is "yes it's real". The entire guitar has all the parts that a guitar needs and everything works perfectly, if it was a guitar shaped cake with decorative icing to give it the appearance of a guitar then I would say it's "fake".

Wihen buying Shure products it is highly advisable to purchase from an authorized Shure dealer not random Amazon or Ebay sellers. Some of the popular Shure mics like the SM57, SM58, and SM7b are frequently counterfeited.

I have a HH Thinline Tele, Semi Hollow Body. And it's got that Les Paul like sound overall. I'd rather get a LP, or possibly a SG just because I want to lighten the weight a bit... As for your comparison here, there were only a few points where I could tell a difference. So Good Job Ken! 🙂

A top of the line Telecaster used to sell for $200 way back in the day. Today you can get a cheap Squier for under $200, do some modifications to it and it will play just as good as a Fender pro shop $4000 guitar. Your choice and your money, but I'm sticking with Squier.

Buy specific use copper tape with conductive glue.... When you screw this all back together, drop it a few times, and have it bounce around for hundredas of miles, you won't be second guessing whether all your connections are good....

Very interesting. Got an old Starcaster Strat, the one with arrowhead headstock. I've read that those guitars were made with some left over parts laying in Fender warehouse. (Neck especially )Obviously the electronics and hardware are the same as Squiers. The interesting part is the neck, maple and rosewood, Wich actually is a 12 degree radius, kinda rare and kinda nice. Just check the trust rod hole and quite surprised that it is not a plastic insert, it seems to be walnut or Rosewood. Apparently The arrowhead headstock comes from the Fender Swinger which I really start to believe

as an avid fan of Roland gear from synths to grooveboxes its typical of them to take what you want and spread it over many product lines,, very frustrating,, for example they put crumby sample time on their fx board's but yet they do awesome samplers!

Squier is a cheap brand owned by fender. Cheap guitars for budget. Cannot compare the electronics, tunning machines, fret work, total quality from China to Mex or especially American Fender's. Squier is not fender, Duh.

Its only a matter of time that the fakes will be better than the real thing, 😅lol why because very few people will be able to afford to buy a real one and 2 the Fed printing 1 trillion dollars every 100 days, just to keep the USA going and inflation will get far worse, So Gibson better start making there own fakes of the real thing soon if they want to stay alive.😂

I just use white mineral oil. Wipe strings with rubbing alcohol, make sure strings stay clean, it dries quick. Then just rub it down with regular white mineral oil strings and all. Strings last a long time, nice and buttery, and the fretboard stays hydrated and slick. A little goes a long way. A jug lasts years.
